The Explorer is the HELIX model featuring a synthetic stock, designed for use in demanding everyday hunting conditions. The fibreglass-reinforced composite stock material is in a dark shade of anthracite and boasts a soft-grip surface. This pliable and low-noise material ensures a secure grip even in low temperatures. Simultaneously, it maintains a system-compatible design, allowing interchangeability between wooden and synthetic stocks. Whether equipped with a standard barrel or a semi-weight barrel, the Explorer's fore-end always fits while allowing the barrel to float freely.
It comes with an integrated Picatinny profile as a mounting basis, a 5-round magazine (+1), a muzzle brake, a Merkel Suppressor, a stock key, and a Harris bipod. The Explorer is a straight-pull bolt-action rifle with a 1:2 transmission, a closed system housing, a real take-down feature, a barrel change option, a 6-locking slugs turning head lock, a manual cocking lever, and a 3-round magazine (+1).
