Representing one of the latest developments within the Rover rifle family, Sabatti's Rover ALASKAN bolt-action rifle has undergone a comprehensive overhaul. This redesign aims to orient the rifle towards hunting, sport shooting, while also meeting the requirements of professional use. The Rover Alaskan distinguishes itself through several distinctive features. It boasts a .308 Winchester caliber and a bolt-action casing machined from a block of 7075 aluminum alloy. The use of this alloy aims to optimize lightness while preserving rigidity, with a finish ensured by a tough anodization process. The oversized and extended bolt handle, with a 60-degree opening, facilitates smooth handling. The 61 cm heavy barrel, with an 18 mm diameter, is cold-forged and features standard rifling, coated with a Satin Chrome Cerakote finish. The addition of a barrel extension allows for easy replacement without the need for headspace adjustment.
